The Challenge:

In the rental agreement both parties Landlord and tenant had agreed on a penalty if there were any delay in the handover towards H&M. We had an construction period of 8 months and we could not start earlier after the rental agreement were sign by both parties. Another big challenge was that a big part of the new situation was unclear after signed lease agreement such as the kind of stairways, kind of elevators etc. We started with demolishing works asap and during these demolishing we had to made new drawings and impression of the new situation and after approval of H&M we could instruct this part of the works. The total investment of this renovation was 2.4 MIO.

The Solution:

BNP started to make good agreements with contractor in order to make sure all works were completed within 8 months. BNP made sure that project management was ‘on top’ of this project in order to make sure that all works was completed in time. The project manager was 3 times per week on location and had a weekly call with H&M in order to discuss progress of the works.
