The assets have been built by PostNL and have been used by PostNL since that time. The assets are specifically build for usage as mail sorting centres. The mail market is declining year-on-year.
Due to the specific characteristics of the portfolio, emphasis was made on the unique selling points such as the strategic (last mile) locations, and strong covenant of the tenant. At the same time we advised the client to opt for a triple net lease to compensate for the more challenging characteristics and make the product more appealing for (inter)national investors.
