Amsterdam, 28 October 2025 – The distinctive office building 'De IJsseltoren' in Zwolle will also remain the home base of ABN AMRO Verzekeringen in the coming years. ABN AMRO Verzekeringen has extended its rental contract in the tallest building in Zwolle by 5 years for 3.465 m² of office space. On behalf of the owner, BNP Paribas Real Estate Nederland advised on the lease extension. Cushman & Wakefield acted as advisor to the tenant.
The office building 'De IJsseltoren' located at Grote Voort 247 has been the landmark of Zwolle since its delivery in 2006 and has since been gradually transformed from a single tenant asset to a multi tenant asset that now provides accommodation to various tenants. Thanks to the unique location directly on the Rijksweg A28, the visibility and accessibility are excellent.
Earlier this year (July 2025), another tenant also extended its lease in 'De IJsseltoren' by 3 years for 1,694 m² of office space. Also in this transaction, BNP Paribas Real Estate Nederland acted on behalf of the owner and Cushman & Wakefield on behalf of the tenant.
This extension once again underlines the long-term commitment of tenants to the IJsseltoren.
