The Challenge

Reviving a property with a turbulent history into a successful shopping centre and leisure hub. Upon acquisition by Lone Star in 2016 the property was around 50% vacant with temporary tenants. Upon sale to Hillwood cv around 15,000 sqm in new leases was signed, but a challenging vacancy of over 25,000 sqm remained

The Solution

BNPP RE conducted a extensive business plan for this asset and started to lease up the vacancy using creative and new measures. Successful sale in 2018. Significant Capex invested for repositioning Multiple large lease deals have been concluded and the value of the asset increased. Close to 30,000 sqm leased in 4 years . At this moment BNPP RE is still aboard as strategic advisor and asset manager
